The AOS

The AOS is an event series where visuals are a key part of the experience. For several events, I designed audio-reactive Visuals to enhance the atmosphere and make the events more engaging for the crowd.

The stage setup

The setup features a large LED wall as the backdrop behind the DJ, serving as the visual centerpiece. Surrounding it, we’ve arranged eight DMX LED bars, positioned to face the audience, creating immersive lighting effects. Additionally, Astera LED bars are placed within the crowd to enhance the overall experience. Everything is controlled via TouchDesigner, allowing for real-time synchronization of visuals and lights.

The scenes

The visual scenes were designed to be dynamic and beat-synced, with each scene reflecting the energy of the music. Different intensities correspond to the varying intensity of each track, creating an immersive and responsive atmosphere. As the songs progress, the visuals change dynamically, and effects like strobe are added later to enhance key moments.

The setup features 16 square LED panels placed around and behind the audience, creating a 360° immersive experience. This arrangement encourages more social interactions within the crowd, while ensuring the farthest areas remain visually connected to the event.

The scenes

The scenes are beat-synced, with heavy distortion effects mapped to the rhythm. A constant upward motion drives the visuals, becoming more or less intense based on the song’s progression, while maintaining a consistent vibe throughout.
